A tribute to Professor James Law
19 October 2021

We are immensely saddened and shocked to hear of the recent death of Professor James Law.
James was a tireless advocate for children with speech, language and communication needs. He worked constantly to push governments to recognise speech and language disorders as a serious problem, to improve the identification of language disorder, and to create more effective interventions. It is impossible to calculate his influence, but there is no doubt that his work has improved the lives of thousands, if not millions, of children.
